Canada
In Canada, the federal and
provincial governments jointly administer
student financial assistance through the
Canada Student Loans Program, which
includes: Federal student loans (called
Canada Student Loans) and Provincial student
loans.
Bond University is a
recognised institution in the Canada Student
Loan Program.

General Eligibility
Criteria:
- Canadian citizen or permanent
resident of Canada;
- Reside in a province/territory that
issues Canada Student Loans
- Demonstrate financial need
- Maintain satisfactory academic
standards
- Be enrolled in at least 60% of a
full time study load in a degree,
diploma or certificate program.

www.canlearn.ca
will give you an idea of how much you may be
eligible for.
Canada Student Loans provide
up to 60% of a full-time student’s assessed
need, up to a maximum $165 per week of
study. Need assessment may differ between
federal and provincial loans.
Maintaining the
Interest-free Status of your Loan
Submit an Enrolment
Confirmation form (Schedule 2) to the NSLSC
each year within 6 months of the end of your
previous study period. This will ensure your
Student Loan remains interest-free during
study.
