Scholarships & Dean's Bursaries

Approximately 1,200 international students apply for a Bond Scholarship each year and last year, 134 scholarships were awarded (11%).  Most of the scholarships at Bond are reserved for Australian students only, however, Bond awards partial scholarships to international students as follows:

 

International Student Scholarships (Undergraduate & Graduate)

- 10 scholarships covering 25% of tuition.

- 10 scholarships covering 50% of tuition.

- Not available for DPT or Master of Psychology.

- Must have graduated in the top 5% of your class/cohort.

- Mostly based on grades, but leadership skills & extra-curricular also considered.

- Applications must be received 4 months prior to your start date.

 

Dean's Scholarships (Undergraduate & Graduate)

- Covers 10-40% of tuition.

- Not available for Juris Doctor (JD), DPT or Master of Psychology.

- Must have strong academic performance (mostly A's & B's).

- Demonstrate strong leadership skills.

- Extensive involvement in extra-curricular activities.

 

Academic Excellence Scholarships (Undergraduate)

- Covers 50% of tuition.

- Additional $2,500 bursary for relocating to Australia.

- Must have at least 3 A grades in Advances Levels or an IB score of 40/45.

- Reserved for high school leavers that have graduated in the last 12 months.

 

Living Expense Bursary

- One time award of $5,000 to help with living expenses.

- Not available to those that have been awarded a scholarship.

 

Sport Scholarships

Sporting scholarships are awarded annually to an elite sportsperson. Applicants must be certified by the government body of their sport to be in the top 10 in that sport. Applicants with a higher public profile may be given greater preference by the University.
